This session goes inward with her: winter ecology and dormancy, the medicinal plants that heal, scratchboard and woodcut illustration in a winter palette, and the practical geometry of firewood and survival. Girls learn that darkness in the forest, and in themselves, is something to understand rather than fear, and that asking for help is part of finding the way home.
